 Day 2 - DUBROVNIK – MLJET

Breakfast on board. Optional guided tour of the city of Dubrovnik.

Nicknamed “the pearl of the Adriatic”, the city hugs the coast at the foot of a range of rugged limestone mountains. The ancient city is famous for its ramparts, which date from medieval times, and its numerous pre-Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Back to the boat for lunch around 1pm. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy Dubrovnik and we suggest a walk around the ramparts. These fortified walls which completely encircle the old town are 2km long and up to 25m in height. From the ramparts you get a very beautiful view over the old town. Back on board for the evening. Presentation of the crew followed by a welcome cocktail served in the lounge and dinner on board followed by an evening of dancing. Departure of the cruise around midnight.

Day 3 - MLJET – KORCULA

Breakfast during the cruise and arrival in Mljet around 9am. Situated between the island of Korcula and Dubrovnik, this is one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic and forms part of a National Park. Optional excursion to the 12th century Benedictine monastery situated in the middle of the Veliko Jezero Lake. Back on board at the end of the morning. During lunch, cruise to Korcula and arrive about 2pm. Optional guided tour of the town on foot including the Cathedral of St Mark (1420), a testament to the great skills of the stonemasons and sculptors of this time. Back on board for the evening. Dinner on board, followed by a traditional “sabre dancing” evening.

Day 4 - KORCULA – SIBENIK

Departure early in the morning and arrive at Sibenik around 9.30am. Breakfast during the cruise and lunch on board. Optional guided tour of the town and the Krka falls. Visit the National Park of the Krka Falls, the site at Skradinski Buk is breathtaking as the water cascades down in waterfalls over 17 tightly spaced ledges of porous travertine rocks. Return to Sibenik and guided visit on foot of the town including its historic centre with its network of alleyways from the 15th and 16th centuries and the Cathedral of St James (1433 to 1477) with its unique skeletal stone construction and a listed World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Back on board for dinner and an evening with the crew.

Day 5 - SIBENIK – TROGIR – SPLIT

Departure of the cruise early in the morning, breakfast on board. Arrival in Trogir around 8am. Optional tour of the town. Trogir is a little gem with a maze of alleyways dotted with stairways and vaulted passages. Visit the 13th century Town Hall and the old town which has managed to preserve many of its monuments intact from the Golden Age (13th to 15th centuries).

Back on board at the end of the morning and sail to Split, passing through the beautiful Dalmatian coast and arrive in Split around 3pm. The second largest city in Croatia, it is the heart of central Dalmatia and a vibrant university and artistic centre. Day 7 - KOTOR – DUBROVNIK

Breakfast during the cruise and arrive in Kotor during the morning.
